Following a well defined
Acquisition Policy, (a copy of which is always available in the Acquisition
Section, for guidance and reference), the library has acquired a collection
of about 70,000 select documents in the form of books/reports, and other
non-book materials, in different areas of management embracing its social,
political and economic environment. The collection is continuously being
updated with latest titles of interest as scanned from a variety of standard
selection sources. Useful selections are also made from the "Acquisition
Lists" of other world class library systems such as The Baker Library at the
Harvard University and other IIMs, etc.
A selection of new acquisitions is displayed, for a week, in the entrance lobby, near the "Reception Counter" and a monthly publication entitled "Current Additions" keeps the clientele informed about the latest arrivals.
